Today I found a stable that would let me have a lease horse in exchange for stable work. Im like, You mean, youll let me muck stalls, sweep up, feed and groom horses, AND youre going to let me pretend I own one of them? The horse shes letting me have is a pedigreed quarter horse mare. Four years old, roan-colored, not very tall. Racing stock, but she doesnt like to run so she ended up a pet. After fifty-four years Im finally going to be a horsey person.
